DETAILS
Roy Budd’s soundtrack constantly surprises, with its blending orchestral and electronic textures. By now, he was developing a greater sophistication of arrangement skills and his experiments with orchestra. This is a first time release for the music from this film as until recently, the soundtrack album had remained in the archives.
Starring Charles Bronson as ‘vicious’ cop Lou Torrey, The Stone Killer was unfairly eclipsed by The French Connection, but remains, all the same, a film with much to admire
