The music for the film Kidnapped featured a large orchestral score and provided Roy Budd the opportunity to demonstrate again his ability to write a memorable main theme. This is one of Budd’s more classical and traditional works, with two strong principal themes whose melodies are woven throughout the score,

The title song, ‘For All My Days’ is a wonderful example of a traditional style folk song, a gentle lament, composed for the film and sung by Mary Hopkin.
