Roy Budd composed music for many of the classic British films of the time, using this platform to explore musical boundaries. He was also possibly one of the UK’s greatest jazz pianists, As a composer, his fusing of jazz, 70’s funk, Indian and Brazilian percussion rhythms, and psychedelic pop continues to inspire today’s musicians and producers. This new album features remixed and re-mastered recordings of his groundbreaking work originally recorded in London in the early 70’s.
